Frequently asked questions
MARKING SYSTEM
Which are the marking tags dimensions for ASI terminal blocks ?
Is there any compatibility with marking systems of other Brands or made by specialized Companies ?
For the ASI terminal blocks the following marking systems are available:
CODE | DESCRIPTION | POSITIONINS ON TERMINAL | DIMENSIONS mm | |
Height | Pitch | |||
MTU | 10 tags strip, white color, printed or unprinted | Side | 3 | 6,5 |
TNP | 50 tags sheet, white color, printed or unprinted | Side | 5 | 5 |
TNM | 50 tags sheet, white color, printed or unprinted | Side | 6 | 6 |
TNU | 100 tags sheet, white color, printed or unprinted | Side | 6 | 6,5 |
TNS | 40 tags sheet, white color, printed or unprinted | Top | 10 | 4,5 |
TNB / TNG | 56 tags sheet, white or yellow color, printed or unprinted | Side | 10 | 5 |
The marking system is fully compatible with worldwide Brands like:
– Weidmuller
– Conta-Clip
– Allen Bradley
ASI terminal blocks can be marked with marking systems made by :
– 3M-GRAFOPLAST
– CEMBRE
– BRADY-MODERNOTECNICA
The suitable codes can be provided by us upon request for an easy identification.
CROSS CONNECTION BRIDGES
Are the push-in cross connectors usable on all ASI terminal blocks ?
The PE cross connectors are usable on USC 2,5 screw terminal block only; on all other USC sizes the cross connections shall be made by using the CVR sleeve with screw together with PR cross connectors.
The PEM cross connectors are usable on all ACF spring terminal blocks ; the original insulating voltage is decreasing to 400 V.
Is it possible to cut off the cross connection bridges to the needed lenght (pole number) ?
The screw bridges could be cut off to the needed lenght; in this case the use of end plate or separating plate is firmly required to guarantee the original insulating voltage.
Also the push-in bridges could be cut off to the needed lenght: in this case attention must be paid to alive ends.
Which types of cross connections could be obtained by using push-in connectors?
Thanks to terminals double slot feature, the push-in connectors are providing the following cross connections solutions:
NORMAL –
POLE SKIP –
ADJACENT –
FLEXIBLE CHAIN –
CROSSED –
