Frequently asked questions
Which are the marking tags dimensions for ASI terminal blocks ?
Is there any compatibility with marking systems of other Brands or made by specialized Companies ?
For the ASI terminal blocks the following marking systems are available:
|CODE||DESCRIPTION||POSITIONINS ON TERMINAL||DIMENSIONS mm|
|MTU||10 tags strip, white color, printed or unprinted||Side||3||6,5|
|TNP||50 tags sheet, white color, printed or unprinted||Side||5||5|
|TNM||50 tags sheet, white color, printed or unprinted||Side||6||6|
|TNU||100 tags sheet, white color, printed or unprinted||Side||6||6,5|
|TNS||40 tags sheet, white color, printed or unprinted||Top||10||4,5|
|TNB / TNG||56 tags sheet, white or yellow color, printed or unprinted||Side||10||5|
The marking system is fully compatible with worldwide Brands like:
– Allen Bradley

CROSS CONNECTION BRIDGES
Are the push-in cross connectors usable on all ASI terminal blocks ?
The PE cross connectors are usable on USC 2,5 screw terminal block only; on all other USC sizes the cross connections shall be made by using the CVR sleeve with screw together with PR cross connectors.
The PEM cross connectors are usable on all ACF spring terminal blocks ; the original insulating voltage is decreasing to 400 V.
Is it possible to cut off the cross connection bridges to the needed lenght (pole number) ?
The screw bridges could be cut off to the needed lenght; in this case the use of end plate or separating plate is firmly required to guarantee the original insulating voltage.
Also the push-in bridges could be cut off to the needed lenght: in this case attention must be paid to alive ends.
Which types of cross connections could be obtained by using push-in connectors?
Thanks to terminals double slot feature, the push-in connectors are providing the following cross connections solutions:
POLE SKIP –
FLEXIBLE CHAIN –
Are ASI terminal blocks provided of CE Mark ?
All ASI terminal blocks are provided with CE Mark, in compliance with 2014/35/UE Directive.
Are the ASI Terminal Blocks in compliance with CE and RoHS Directives?
Yes, they are made in compliance with 2014/35/UE (CE Mark) and 2011/65/UE (RoHS) Directives.
COLOURED TERMINAL BLOCKS
Does ASI products range include terminal blocks in different colours, in compliance to CEI EN 60204-1 Directive?
Yes, in our product range the following coloured feed-through terminals with relevant end plate are available:
– USC 2,5 _
– USC 4 _
– USC 6 _
– USC 10 _
– DFE 2,5-10 _
The following colours are available:
|Orange||O||Identifying live circuits inside the switchboard even when main switch is OFF|
|Red||R||Control circuits, AC current|
|Black||K||Power circuits, AC and DC current|
|Grey||E||Control circuits, DC current|
|White||W||It could be used as additional wiring identification|
FUSE HOLDER TERMINAL BLOCKS
Which are fuses dimensions to be used with ASI terminals ?
Is there a feature outlining the fuse breakage ?
The suitable fuses are:
|FUSE||TERMINAL CODE||TERMINAL DESCRIPTION|
|Ø 5 x 20 mm||USC 4 PF
|By lever fuse holder terminal – 4 mm2
Cap fuse holder terminal – 10 mm2
|Ø 5 x 25 mm||USC 10FT/25||Cap fuse holder terminal – 10 mm2|
|Ø 6,3 x 32 mm
(¼” x 1 ¼ ”)
|USC 10FT/32||Cap fuse holder terminal – 10 mm2|
All the fuse holder terminals are also available with a red LED that indicate fuse breakage.
Available Voltages are: 12V, 24V, 48V 110V, 220V, 400V.
Which is the self extinguish rate of ASI terminal blocks ?
All the insulating housings of ASI terminal blocks are made by 66 polyamide with self extinguish rate UL 94 – V0.
What is the operative temperature range for ASI terminal blocks ?
The ASI terminal blocks are studied to be employed in a wide range of operative temperature ( – 50 ÷ + 125 °C).
